Samantha Miller is a dedicated mental health professional with a passion for supportingindividuals on their journey to recovery and independence. As the Interim Program Director ofConnections Clubhouse, Samantha plays a key role in creating a supportive, empoweringenvironment where members can build skills, confidence, and social connections.Samantha has both worked and lived experience in the behavioral health field, specializing inemployment support, social rehabilitation, and community integration for individuals facingmental health challenges. She first joined Mental Health Connections as a Social Practitioner,working closely with members to develop vocational skills, secure meaningful employment, andenhance their overall well-being.A 2022 graduate of Contra Costa College’s SPIRIT (Service Provider Individualized RecoveryIntensive Training) program, Samantha brings a deep understanding of peer-led recoveryservices, cultural competency, and trauma-informed care. She is also a Faculty Member forClubhouse Development, an elite group of members and staff from Accredited Clubhousesworldwide who provide consultation and accreditation services through Clubhouse International.Before joining the Mental Health Connections organization, Samantha gained hands-onexperience as a Behavioral Health Intern at Peer Connections Center, facilitating groupdiscussions, implementing structured routines, and engaging clients in skill-building activities.Samantha is committed to ensuring that Connections Clubhouse continues to be a place whereindividuals can achieve their personal and professional goals in a supportive community.
