Samantha Miller is a dedicated mental health professional with a passion for supporting individuals on their journey to recovery and independence. As the Program Director of Connections Clubhouse, Samantha plays a key role in creating a supportive, empowering environment where members can build skills, confidence, and social connections. Samantha has both worked and lived experience in the behavioral health field, specializing in employment support, social rehabilitation, and community integration for individuals facing mental health challenges. She first joined Mental Health Connections as a Social Practitioner, working closely with members to develop vocational skills, secure meaningful employment, and enhance their overall well-being. A 2022 graduate of Contra Costa College’s SPIRIT (Service Provider Individualized Recovery Intensive Training) program, Samantha brings a deep understanding of peer-led recovery services, cultural competency, and trauma-informed care. She is also a Faculty Member for Clubhouse Development, an elite group of members and staff from Accredited Clubhouses worldwide who provide consultation and accreditation services through Clubhouse International. Before joining the Mental Health Connections organization, Samantha gained hands-on experience as a Behavioral Health Intern at Peer Connections Center, facilitating group discussions, implementing structured routines, and engaging clients in skill-building activities. Samantha is committed to ensuring that Connections Clubhouse continues to be a place where individuals can achieve their personal and professional goals in a supportive community. Her understanding through lived experiences, expertise in leading and empowering others, and her dedication to upholding Clubhouse values make her an essential leader in the Mental Health Connections team
